Certificate of Completion of Program

A program designed to develop and maintain a consistent body of knowledge for research administrators at the University of Florida

1. Program Goals:

  • To identify and maintain a trained workforce in research administration to support UF's academic mission.

  • To develop a consistent, standardized body of knowledge for UF research administrators

  • To establish high performance standards for research administrators at UF.

  • To provide support and knowledge to faculty in the management of their research endeavors.

2. Basic Program Offerings:

The Certificates of Completion Program offers participants the opportunity to complete and receive two certificates.

  • Pre-Award Certificate is focused on the proposal development and pre-award aspects of research administration.

  • Post-Award Certificate is focused on the post-award and accounting aspects of research administration.

Each certificate requires the participant to attend all CORE Commons modules plus one of the module sets with either the pre or post award focus.
